Privacy Policy

Haraka · Effective September 7, 2026 · Version 1.1

Haraka is made by Continuum Company ("Continuum", "we", "us"), a company based in Saudi Arabia. This policy explains what happens to your information when you use Haraka on iPhone and Apple Watch.

The short version: your Haraka activity stays on your devices. We receive the support emails and optional reports you choose to send us. If you use TestFlight or enable diagnostic sharing with app developers, Apple also provides the reports described below.

What Haraka stores, and where

Haraka keeps everything it needs on your iPhone and, if you use the Watch app, on your paired Apple Watch:

Haraka stores this information locally on your devices; Apple device backups may also include it (see "Backups"). Haraka has no accounts, no sign-in, and no servers of its own. Haraka does not automatically send this stored app activity to us. Where Apple or your chosen email provider is involved (purchases, Apple Health, Watch sync, or support), the sections below explain exactly what happens.

What Continuum receives

Haraka does not automatically transmit your app activity or health data to us. It contains no analytics, advertising, tracking, crash-reporting SDK, or third-party service that receives that data. We receive the support email and optional diagnostic report you choose to send us yourself—see “Contacting support” below. If you use TestFlight, or enable sharing with app developers in your Apple settings, Apple also provides the beta-testing information and crash reports described under “Beta testing and Apple crash reports” below. We do not sell any of that information or use it for advertising.

Reminders

All reminders are local notifications scheduled on your iPhone. Haraka does not use remote push notifications, so no server — ours or anyone else's — is involved in reminding you to move.

Apple Health

Haraka can optionally save your completed movement snacks to Apple Health as short workout records. This is off until you turn it on.

You can turn mirroring off at any time in Settings, and you can manage or delete the saved workouts in the Apple Health app.

Apple Watch

If you use the Watch app, your current plan and your logs sync directly between your iPhone and your paired Watch using Apple's device-to-device connection. This sync does not pass through us.

Purchases

Haraka+ subscriptions are processed entirely by Apple through your Apple Account. We do not receive your name, payment details, or billing address. Apple's handling of your purchase information is described in Apple's own privacy policy.

Contacting support

If you choose to contact us from the app, Haraka prepares an email for you to review before sending. You can optionally include a small diagnostic report. It contains:

The report never includes your movement log, health data, or anything you have typed. You can view the report in the app before you decide to include it. Nothing is sent unless you press send, and you can leave the report out. If the in-app Mail composer is unavailable, Haraka instead opens a blank email to our support address with the subject line filled in and no report attached.

Anything you do send us is used only to answer your request. Support correspondence may be processed and stored outside the country in which you are located. We keep support emails, including any report attached, only as long as we need them to handle your request and fix what it uncovered, and delete them when they are no longer needed. If you want yours deleted sooner, reply to the same thread and ask.

Beta testing and Apple crash reports

If you install a beta version of Haraka through Apple's TestFlight service, Apple automatically provides Continuum with beta usage information and crash reports under the TestFlight Terms. TestFlight feedback may also include information and screenshots you choose to submit. For App Store versions, Apple may also provide crash reports when you enable sharing with app developers in your Apple settings. Continuum uses this information only to test, diagnose, and improve the app, keeps any reports it downloads only while working on the problem they describe, and then deletes them.

Backups

Your device backups (iCloud or computer backups) may include Haraka's data, like any app's data. Those backups are controlled by you and Apple; we cannot access them. Because Haraka has no server copy of your data, your backup is the only copy besides your devices — if you delete the app and have no backup, your Haraka data is gone.

Deleting your data

There is no account to close. Deleting the app from your devices deletes all Haraka data stored in it. Workouts you previously saved to Apple Health remain in Apple Health until you delete them there.

Your rights

Privacy laws such as the Saudi Personal Data Protection Law and similar laws elsewhere give you rights over personal data that organizations hold about you. What we hold is limited to the support emails you have sent us and any reports Apple has provided, as described above. You can ask us to delete them at any time; email support@continuum.sa with “Privacy request” in the subject. Everything else is already in your hands, on your devices. If you have any question or believe this policy does not match how the app behaves, contact us and we will look into it.

Children

Haraka is not directed at children. Haraka does not automatically transmit your movement log or health data to Continuum, whether the user is an adult or a child using Haraka with a parent or guardian's permission. If someone contacts support, we receive the email and anything they choose to include, as described in "Contacting support" above; Apple-provided reports are described under "Beta testing and Apple crash reports".

Changes to this policy

If a future version of Haraka changes what is collected, we will update this policy, change the effective date and version above, update the App Store privacy label to match, and present the change clearly. The current version will always be available at haraka.continuum.sa/privacy.
